Specimen 003 was recovered following the unexplained disappearance of several small animals from a residential area. The specimen possesses no visible limbs and appears to move by dragging itself forward with its unusually muscular tongue.

Despite its appearance, Gob displays little aggression toward Recovery personnel. Nearly all observed behavior appears motivated by hunger.

Gob has demonstrated a particular interest in Thumb colonies. During initial testing, the specimen consumed three Thumbs in rapid succession before containment procedures could be implemented. Further exposure has been prohibited.

The specimen’s mouth is capable of opening far beyond what its body dimensions should permit. Whether Gob possesses a conventional digestive system remains unknown.

Containment is considered necessary.

Recovery Note: Gob does not appear malicious. Gob appears hungry. The distinction has proven largely irrelevant.
